Sending Internal Comments

This article will walk you through using internal comments to communicate with your team members and tagging them to send them a notification for an open chat.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1: Log in to the Anipanion web app.

Step 2: Click on the Chats tab on the navigation sidebar.

 

Step 3: Internal Comments are accessible on the chat sidebar under the pet parent information. Click on the Internal Comments tab to show any comments that have been added to the chat thread you currently have open.

 

Step 4: Add an internal comment by selecting the text box at the bottom of the sidebar, then typing in your comment.

 

Step 5: Press the Enter key when you are done to post the comment into the internal comments area.

 

Step 6: Click on the three dots to the right of the comment timestamp to bring up the context menu. You can use this to Edit or Delete internal comments. Users with the admin role can edit or delete any comments. Users that do not have the admin role can only edit or delete their own comments.

 

Step 7: Type '@' to begin a user tag. Begin typing the user's name to narrow the user list that is displayed. Press the Enter key at any time while the user list is shown to fill in the rest of the name of the bottom entry of the list. Tagging a user will send them a notification for this chat.
